Child Stunting Prevalence (PI3594)

Ratio of children within the area served by the organization who experienced stunting as of the end of the reporting period.

Organizations should footnote all assumptions used, including source of data.

This metric is intended to capture the prevalence of stunting among children in the region served by the organization. The World Health Organization (WHO) defines stunting as height less than two standard deviations from the median of the WHO's Child Growth Standards. Stunting often results from malnutrition and other factors correlated with poverty.
