Usage Guidance

This metric is intended to capture the length of streams present on land directly or indirectly controlled by the organization during the reporting period. A stream refers to a natural flowing body of water. It typically has a current and is confined within a bed and stream banks.

Organizations are encouraged to report this metric in conjunction with Land Directly Controlled: Sustainably Managed (OI6912), Land Indirectly Controlled: Sustainably Managed (PI6796), and Protected Land Area (PI4716).
